Give children a way to take a break from everyday noise with Happy Square Kids’ Noise-Reducing Sensory Earmuffs. Featuring cushioned ear cups and a padded headband, these passive earmuffs are designed to soften surrounding sound without music, batteries or electronic noise cancellation.
Available in blue, pink and green, they are a practical addition to a school bag, home sensory kit or travel essentials.
Adjustable padded headband: Easily adjust the fit to suit your child’s head size, with soft padding for comfortable wear.
For children with additional sensory needs
Some children with autism, ADHD or sensory processing differences find busy sound environments uncomfortable or distracting. Sensory earmuffs offer an optional way to reduce incoming sound during activities such as school assemblies, family gatherings or outings.
-
A choice during noisy moments: Let children decide when they would like a quieter experience.
-
Support sensory breaks: Keep a pair available in a calm corner or familiar quiet space.
-
Prepare for outings: Introduce the earmuffs at home before trying them in a busier setting.
-
Encourage communication: Help children practise asking for their earmuffs or a break when needed.
Comfort and preferences vary. Introduce them gradually and use them alongside access to quieter spaces and appropriate breaks.
For everyday family use
These children’s earmuffs can also be useful for kids who prefer less background noise while reading, doing homework or travelling. They offer a simple, screen-free option for quieter moments, whether or not a child has additional needs.

Are these noise-cancelling headphones?
These are passive noise-reducing earmuffs. They do not play audio or use active noise-cancelling electronics.
Will they block all sound?
No. They are intended to reduce surrounding sound, rather than create complete silence. Performance depends on fit and the type of noise.
Fit and use
Position the cups so they fully surround the ears and sit comfortably. Check that your child can still receive necessary instructions and remain aware of their surroundings. Remove them if uncomfortable.
