Early Intervention – Multiple Ways to Play with the Shape Bean Bags
This is probably one of our most popular products –
But how many ways can you actually play with it?
Let’s count together:
⸻
🔹 1. Color recognition
🔹 2. Shape recognition
🔹 3. Working memory training
• Give the child a sequence of 3 commands, e.g., “Red, green, blue”
• Or use different shapes instead
• Adjust difficulty by varying the sequence
• Practice remembering shape–color pairings
🔹 4. Hot & Cold Game
Hide the bean bag and let the child find it:
• If they go far, say “cold”
• As they get closer, say “hot”
🔹 5. Interactive play
Use individual bean bags for throwing/catching games
🔹 6. Use it as a dodgeball
Throw and dodge with the bean bag
🔹 7. Tactile training
• Put a bean bag in a fabric pouch, blindfold the child, and let them guess the shape by touch
• Advanced version: Put all shapes in the pouch and have the child find the specific one by touch
⸻
✨ During this process, children naturally learn the features of each shape, such as:
• Squares have four sides of equal length
• Pentagons have five sides
• Circles have the same diameter in every direction
… and more.
